Flight To Korea From Singapore

With travel back in 2022, coupled with quarantine free travel to Korea, and an uptick in flights to Korea from Singapore, we decided to pen this article for our clients to assist you in your travel planning to Korea.

Counting all the premium airlines, together with a couple of new budget airlines, there are a total of seven airlines that fly to Korea from Singapore.

Starting from May 2022, there are a couple of new kids on the block for flights to Korea from Singapore.

Budget Flights To Korea From Singapore

Scoot Airlines

Our favorite home grown brand, Scoot is offering non stop flights to Incheon (Seoul) and to Jeju.  They used to fly via Osaka or Taipei to Seoul, but with the two country still struggling to open the borders, it is a good move of Scoot to fly direct to Incheon and Jeju.  Scoot flies every Tue, Thu, Sat & Sun from Singapore to Incheon and vice versa.  She flies every Wed, Fri & Sun to and fro Jeju.

Have a look at the schedule below:

Travel Planning Tip:  If Jeju and Seoul are on your list, we would suggest flying into Jeju from Singapore and fly out from Seoul to Singapore.  That way, you would save on one-way domestic air tickets and you get to do all your shopping in Seoul before bidding the country goodbye.

Jeju Air

One of the best low budget carrier in South Korea, Jeju Air has added another option for flights to Korea from Singapore, this time flying to the 2nd largest city, Busan.  It flies every Wednesday and Saturday from Singapore to Busan, every Tuesday, and Friday from Busan to Singapore.

Have a look at the schedule below:

Travel Planning Tip: If Busan is on your list, it makes sense to fly into Busan, take the KTX (high speed rail, ~3 hours) back to Seoul and fly out from Incheon.  You will save loads of time (at least half a day) than flying in direct from Incheon and change to KTX or a domestic flight.

Tway Air

The sixth airline to connect Singapore to Incheon, Tway Air is one of the newest Korean’s low budget carriers to ply the popular route.  It has 2 flights from Singapore to Incheon weekly, flying every Thursday and Sundays and 2 flights from Incheon to Singapore weekly, flying every Wednesday and Saturday.

Here’s the schedule:

Travel Planning Tip: If you do not mind a red eye flight, Tway Air is one of the cheapest ways to secure a one-way ticket to Incheon.  It seems to focus on price rather than timing and comfort.

Air Premia

Air Premia is the newest airlines to start plying the Singapore-Incheon route, just starting its services on 29 June.  It flies thrice weekly from Singapore to Incheon, every Thursday, Friday and Sunday,  3 times weekly from Incheon to Singapore, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

As you can see from the timing, Air Premia is a direct competitor with Tway in terms of timing and much more aggressive in terms of flight schedule.
